General FAQ
Upon arrival, one of our front desk team members will assist you in checking in and provide all necessary paperwork. You can also streamline your visit and check in online prior to your arrival. After check-in, you will be triaged and assessed based on your medical complaint. One of our medical providers will then assess your illness or injury and determine a treatment plan.
Our team strives to see every patient in a timely manner, but many different factors can impact the duration of your appointment. If you use the check-in online option, you can see an approximate wait-time and pick a clinic that has fewer people ahead of you in line. However, please note that this estimate can change quickly if multiple people arrive at the same time. We triage our patients based on injury and illness.
Patients may not be seen in the order they arrived for several reasons. Such as:
– Some patients may only need to be seen as a follow-up by the MA or an X-ray tech
– Certain medical conditions require faster care based on the level of severity
– There are designated rooms/areas for certain visit types
Patients 18 years and older must provide a valid photo ID. If the patient is under 18, a guardian must provide a photo ID and be present at the time of treatment. If you have insurance, you must bring your insurance card with you. If you have a co-pay, it is due at time of service via cash or a credit card.

Yes! All 5 of our clinics offer X-rays throughout the week. However, some clinics may not have an X-ray technologist on site. Please call the clinic you wish to visit to confirm prior to visiting.

Erlanger Express Care offers prompt, high-quality medical care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, including cold and flu symptoms, nausea and vomiting, minor fractures, lacerations with controlled bleeding, and more.

No, urgent care clinics are not the same as a primary care practice. As you can imagine, urgent care clinics, also referred to as walk-in clinics, can provide similar services as a primary care practice, but they offer extended hours, often 7 days a week. Urgent care offers extended hours when primary care practice is closed for the evening or weekend.
Our clinics have agreements with various insurance companies for a Flat Rate service fee. This fee varies depending on who your insurance provider is. Please call our clinic for additional information.
*Please note that any labs done will be billed separately and are not included in the Flat Rate.
*This is only applicable for patients with insurance.
